Our solution
One platform. One standardised, maintained dataset.
PMD is developing a centralised data platform that collects official pharmaceutical information and transforms it into a standardised, comparable and continuously maintained dataset - reducing the manual effort of collecting, cleaning, aligning and comparing data across markets.
Standardisation
Country-specific data is mapped into a common structure, so that medicines, packs, prices and related fields can be compared consistently across markets.
Traceability
Data points are designed to link back to their official source wherever possible, helping users understand where information came from and when it was updated.
Update discipline
PMD is designed as an update engine, not a static database. The platform monitors source changes and supports structured refresh cycles, change logs and version control.
Practical usability
The dataset is designed for real workflows: market screening, pricing comparison, reimbursement review, product mapping, reporting and commercial planning.
The dataset
What PMD is being built to deliver.
The objective is not simply to collect information, but to make it easier to compare and use across countries.
Future users are expected to access PMD through a platform interface and structured exports. API access may be introduced later, subject to product maturity and customer requirements.
- Medicine and product names
- Product identifiers and national codes
- Pack sizes and presentations
- Strength and dosage form
- Manufacturer, supplier and MAH information
- Pricing-related fields
- Reimbursement-related fields, where available
- Country availability
- Source references and update information
How it works
From official sources to validated outputs.
- 01
Identify & monitor
Official pharmaceutical sources are identified and monitored, market by market.
- 02
Collect
Relevant medicine and product information is collected from those sources.
- 03
Map
Country-specific fields are mapped into a common data model.
- 04
Standardise & validate
Data is standardised and validated through automated and manual checks.
- 05
Track changes
Changes are tracked through versioning and update logs.
- 06
Deliver
Validated data is delivered through the platform, structured exports and future API access.
Why PMD
The standardisation and update layer is the product.
Pharmaceutical data is complex because markets are regulated nationally but analysed internationally. PMD is being built to bridge that gap - transforming official, decentralised pharmaceutical data into a comparable and continuously maintained dataset.
- A unified data model across countries
- Structured product and pack-level information
- Defined update processes
- Source traceability
- Quality assurance and validation controls
- Scalable country onboarding
- Practical outputs for platform, export and future API use
